9 x 1 1/2 Deluxe Agglomerated Straight Wine Corks 100 ct
Deluxe Agglomerated Wine Corks are agglomerated, meaning they are made from ground up pieces of cork bark glued together. This cork can be used with all of our wine bottles except the 187 ml champagne bottle. The #9 is not recommended to be used with a hand corker unless you are very athletic. This cork should only be used for wines that will be stored for less than 2 years. A higher quality cork is suggested for wines to be stored longer, or for slightly longer than 2 years move up to higher density cork including the premium quality or the Nomacorcs.
OTHER THINGS YOU MIGHT NEED
Wine Bottles in a wide variety of sizes. Add character to your wine by changing up the bottle style or pick something nice to give as gifts.
Shrink capsules are a great way to add a finishing touch after corking your bottles. Easy to apply by dipping in boiling water or using a heat gun. Regular shrink capsules (30mm x 55mm) fit standard cork finished bottles. All PVC shrinks have a gold grape coin on their tops.
Corking can be a very physical job so choose the right corker for your bottling needs. Be sure to reference the cork size when selecting your corker. Some corks only work with certain corkers.
A bottle tree is a great way to dry your bottles before filling and corking.
Make sanitizing your bottles easy before corking. This item will save you a lot of time, and work.
It might be time to replace your bottling wand. They are stubbornly difficult to clean and you don't want to risk contamination after corking your bottles.
This is another great go-to item that will not only save you time and work when bottling and corking, it saves water! It attaches right to your sink. Press the bottle on the spring and you have a power washer.
DID YOU KNOW?
Cork harvesting is actually good for the environment. A harvested cork tree absorbs 10 tons more CO2 throughout its life than one that is not harvested!
