With 8 lbs of Pale Malt (2-Row) as your foundation, you'll build a robust body that supports the complex flavors of 1 lb of Munich Malt and 0.5 lb of Caramel/Crystal Malt - 60L. These malts work together to deliver that signature amber hue and a depth of flavor that’s both comforting and intriguing. The addition of 0.25 lb of Victory Malt adds a subtle nuttiness, rounding out the malt profile with a touch of warmth.
Your hop journey begins with 1 oz of Cascade Hops, added at the 60-minute mark, infusing your brew with a classic bitterness that sets the stage for the floral and citrus notes to come. As you near the finish line, 1 oz of Willamette Hops at 15 minutes introduces a gentle earthiness, while a final flourish of 1 oz of Cascade Hops at 0 minutes elevates the aroma to a bouquet of floral delight.
To bring it all together, a packet of American Ale Yeast works its magic, fermenting your creation into a smooth, drinkable ale that’s as satisfying as it is flavorful.
