Unleash your inner artist with Basquiat’s Brushstroke Light Amber Ale Beer Kit, a low-alcohol amber ale that strikes the perfect balance between boldness and subtlety. With an ABV of 3.8%, this beer offers a refreshing, flavorful experience without the heavy hit of alcohol. Ideal for anyone seeking a creative, yet easy-drinking brew, Basquiat's Brushstroke lets you savor every moment, whether you're enjoying it after a long day or sharing it with friends.
The flavor profile of this amber ale begins with a smooth caramel malt foundation, derived from the combination of Pale Dry Malt Extract and specialty grains such as Caramel Malt 40L, Biscuit Malt, and Victory Malt. These grains impart a deep, toasted malt character with a slight biscuity edge, giving you a satisfying and complex base.
The hops in this kit are where things get truly expressive. Cascade and Centennial hops work in harmony to create a vibrant citrusy and floral aroma, adding a lively zest to the overall experience. The Cascade hops, added at 60 minutes, 15 minutes, and 5 minutes, provide a layered hop bitterness that is noticeable but not overpowering, with notes of pine and grapefruit.
This amber ale’s smooth finish is balanced by a crisp, clean dryness, making it an excellent choice for any occasion. The slight sweetness from the malt backbone and the refreshing hop bitterness ensures that each sip is well-rounded and satisfying.
With an IBU of 25 and a final gravity of 1.010, the beer finishes light yet flavorful, giving you a refreshing experience that doesn’t linger too long. The SRM of 12 indicates a rich amber hue, making this brew as visually appealing as it is delicious.
