Your Bragging Rights Braggart IPA Beer Kit makes a light golden-colored brew that dances on your palate with a pleasant malty sweetness, perfectly balanced by a unique hop character. This kit is your gateway to creating a Honey IPA that’s as refreshing as a summer breeze and as satisfying as a well-told tale.

With 4 lbs. of Light Malt Extract, you lay the foundation for a robust body, while 1 lb. of Munich Malt and 8 oz of Caramel 20L Malt add layers of complexity and depth. The star of the show, 1 lb. of Honey Malt, infuses your beer with a delicate honey flavor and aroma, complemented by the addition of 3 lb. of Wildflower Honey, which enhances the sweetness and rounds out the profile.

Your hop blend is where the magic truly happens. With 2 oz. of Cascade Hops, 1 oz. of Centennial Hops, and 1 oz. of Citra Hops, you’ll introduce intense citrus, floral, and tropical flavors that will make your taste buds sing. The finish is slightly sweet and highly refreshing, leaving you with a lingering desire for just one more sip.

To ensure your brew is as clear as your intentions, the Yeast Energizer / Irish Moss Combo Packet works its wonders, while the American Ale Yeast package brings it all together, fermenting your creation into a masterpiece. Instructions

1. Heat 2-3 gallons of water to 155°F.
2. Place grains in a grain bag and steep in the hot water for 30 minutes.
3. Remove the grain bag and rinse grains with water (sparging) then discard.
4. Add the malt extract and stir until fully dissolved.
5. Bring the wort to a rolling boil.
6. Add the hops according to the hop schedule
7. Boil for 60 minutes, stirring occasionally.
8. At 15 minutes add Yeast Energizer / Irish Moss Combo Packet.
9. Once removed from heat, add the Wildflower Honey and stir until evenly dissolved. Add water to the empty honey bottles and shake to make sure you get all the honey from the jars.

12. Ferment at 68-70°F for 10-14 days or until fermentation is complete.
13. Transfer to a bottling bucket and stir in 5 oz. priming sugar. Mix until evenly distributed and bottle your beer.
14. Once bottled, allow 2 weeks for carbonation in a cool, dark room. Enjoy!
