Hellmouth Abyss Imperial Stout Beer Kit – Extract
Dare to Brew the Darkness
The Hellmouth has opened—and from its depths, you summon a brewing experience as dark as the void itself. The Hellmouth Abyss Imperial Stout Beer Kit is crafted for homebrewers like you who crave bold, unapologetic flavor and the satisfaction of building a monster of a beer from the grain up. This extract-based beer kit gives you everything you need to create a rich, complex Imperial Stout that’s bursting with deep roasted character, balanced bitterness, and a dangerously smooth finish.
At the core of this abyssal brew is 9 pounds of Pale Dry Malt Extract, fueling a formidable 10.5% ABV. The flavor profile dives deep with Chocolate Malt, Roasted Barley, and Black Malt, delivering intense notes of dark cocoa, burnt toffee, espresso, and charred oak. Caramel Malt 80L adds a dark fruit sweetness that coils beneath the surface, giving you a layered, full-bodied mouthfeel that lingers.
This stout doesn’t shy away from hops, either. Warrior hops at 60 minutes bring a punchy bitterness (70 IBU) to rein in the malt sweetness. Late additions of East Kent Goldings and Fuggle hops add earthy, herbal notes with a ghostly whisper of spice.
Fermented with a packet of SafAle US-05, this beer finishes clean and lets the dark malts and hops shine, drying out just enough to keep each sip balanced and dangerously drinkable. With an Original Gravity of 1.102 and a Final Gravity of 1.025, the final brew is thick, silky, and enveloped in blackness (SRM 40+).
If you're looking to brew an Imperial Stout extract kit that’s bold, full-flavored, and deeply satisfying, Hellmouth Abyss Imperial Stout is your descent into the shadows.

1. Heat 2-3 gallons of water to 155°F.
2. Place grains in a grain bag and steep in the hot water for 30 minutes.
3. Remove the grain bag, sparge (rinse) with water into the kettle, and discard.
4. Stir in the liquid and dry malt extract until fully dissolved.
5. Bring your wort to a rolling boil.

7. Boil for 60 minutes, stirring occasionally.
