No pH or acid adjustments are required. Acidity: 2.4; 2.2 - 2.6 % w/w (as citric acid) (AOAC Method 942.15)

Ingredient List: High Fructose Corn Syrup; Apple Juice Concentrate; Lambrusco Grape Juice Concentrate; Malic Acid; Citric Acid; Natural Flavors; Diammonium Phosphate; Water

INSTRUCTIONS

Add 4 gallons of water to 1 gallon of concentrate and pitch your favorite yeast to make 5 gallons of wine. Distilled water is your best choice because it is guaranteed to be pH neutral which will not throw off the acidity of your wine. If you cannot get distilled water, you can use regular bottled water however, it could make your wine more tart if it is acidic. Tap water is not recommended.

PURCHASE KIT

Your Lambrusco Wine Base also comes as a kit. It Includes yeast, Potassium Sorbate, potassium metabisulfite and clearing agents.

This base is very good.

"This base is very good. I add rasins and ferment it dry and do not sweaten. It is very dark making it a great red with a great flavor."

Not Lambrusco Grapes

"I bought this item and then read the ingredients which are not listed on the description. Corn syrup, Elderberry, Apple, Grape and Pear juice concentrate and the typical acids and natural flavors. The grapes are mentioned as an added concentrate but there is no mention to type of grape. With the added non-grape fruits I would guess concord or Thompsons for the tannin and sugars but I do not believe there is one Lambrusco grape in the whole batch. After making the batch with some hope the end result was something other than a Lambrusco. It has a very strong Elderberry flavor and aroma of bubblegum not the typical strawberry or cherry found with Lambrusco grapes. Worst I have ever tried."
