Made with Golden Light Dry Malt Extract and 2-Row Brewers Malt, this recipe delivers a light yet satisfying body that enhances the vibrant notes of dried lime peel and lime flavoring extract. A touch of flaked barley adds a silky mouthfeel, while Apollo hops provide just the right amount of bitterness with subtle citrus undertones.

Fermented with SafAle US-05, a reliable American ale yeast, this beer finishes clean and crisp, letting the refreshing lime shine. The included yeast energizer and Irish moss combo ensures a smooth fermentation and a bright, clear pour.

INGREDIENTS 

- 3 lbs. Golden Light Dry Malt Extract
- 3 lbs. 2-Row Brewers Malt
- 1 lb. Flaked Barley
- 1 oz. ApolloHops
- 4 oz. Lime Flavoring Extract
- 1 oz. Dried Lime Peel
- Yeast Energizer / Irish Moss Combo Packet
- 1 Packet Dry Yeast (SafAle US-05)

Also Included: 5 oz. Priming Sugar and muslin bags

    HOPS SCHEDULE    

- 60 Minutes: .5 oz. Apollo Hops (Bittering)
- 30 Minutes: .25 oz. Apollo Hops (Flavoring)
- 10 Minutes: .25 oz. Apollo Hops (Aroma)

INSTRUCTIONS

Prepare Equipment:

Sanitize all brewing equipment thoroughly.

1. Heat 2-3 gallons of water to 155°F.
2. Remove from heat and place grains in a grain bag and steep in the hot water for 30 minutes.
3. Remove the grain bag and discard.
4. Bring the wort to a boil.
5. Once boiling, Remove from heat. Add the malt extract and stir until fully dissolved.
6. Return to heat and resume boiling.
7. Add the hops according to the hop schedule.
8. Boil for 60 minutes, stirring occasionally.
9. With 15 minutes left in the boil, add Yeast Energizer / Irish Moss Combo Packet.
10. Once boil is complete, cool the wort to 70°F.
11. Pitch the yeast and seal the fermenter.
12. Ferment at 68-70°F for 10-14 days (or until fermentation is complete).
14. Transfer to a bottling bucket and stir in the 4 oz Lime Flavoring and 5 oz. of priming sugar. Mix until evenly distributed and bottle your beer.
15. Once bottled, allow 2 weeks for carbonation in a cool, dark room. Enjoy!

Packaging:

Bottle with priming sugar or keg the beer, carbonating to approximately 2.5 volumes of CO2.
Allow the beer to condition for 2 weeks before serving.
