"We have made this kit several times. Very nice with more to it than we expected. Good malt flavor but well balanced. Great summer beer. It does really get better with a 6 week age period!"

I use the amber kit as a base for my Amber Rye Mossaic by adding rye grain and Mossaic hops. Instructions are simple and clear. "Good tasting Amber Ale.I agree that longer it ages the better it tastes. Will get it again. I called mine Afternoon Ale!"
A Good Amber
"The first time a tried this beer I thought it was lacking flavor. Turns out that I had not let it mature long enough. I believe it takes at least a month after bottling before it develops a more caramel like flavor. Also, I first started drinking this at a temperature of about 35 deg F. Later I had it at about 50 deg F and found it to be richer in taste and complexity. I am brewing a second batch, but this time with the additional 1 lb of Extra Light DME."
