This Lid Is Not Completely Air Tight On The 10 G Fermenter. You can also use A Plastic Sheet Or Cheese Cloth For Primary Fermentation. A Airlock Can Be Used To Help Release Gas During Vigorous Fermentation.
*This vessel is ideal for actively fermenting products only. The lid is designed to allow gasses to escape in place of an airlock. Due to this feature it is not recommended for storage purposes and only for use during active fermentation.
