Saves lots of time
"I make cordials from fruit in vodka for the winter holidays that steeps for months in vodka, and then I filter out and bottle. I have done for decades. I used to use cheese cloth in a colander and that worked, but using the giant funnel with this filter is so much quicker and easier to clean and more effect to filter and collect the cordial in jar below. It does as good a job as cheese cloth with out the mess. I got the new screen this year as my old one was showing signs of wear after maybe 10 years use. I was pleased I didn't have to buy whole new funnel"
