All toast levels showed a perceived aromatic sweetness and full mouthfeel. The French oak was characterized by a fruity, cinnamon and allspice character. As the toast levels increased, the fruity descriptor changed from fresh to jammy to cooked fruit and raisin. The French oak was also characterized by notes of custard and creme brulee, milk chocolate and campfire / roasted coffee notes, especially the latter in higher toast levels.
