Premier Cuvée Prise De Mousse Red Star Active Wine Yeast is great for producing white wines. This strain has a good alcohol tolerance helping to re-start stuck fermentations.
Also great for mead making: a strong, clean fermenter for dry meads. Pair it with yeast nutrient, since honey is low in nitrogen.
Overall rating: 5.0 / 5 from 4 reviews.

Red Star Premier Cuvee yeast
"This is the yeast that Winexpert put in of their red wine kits from back when I started making wine until a year or so ago. Now they use Lalvin 1118 and I don't like it. So, when I order the kits I order the Premier Cuvee to go with them. I through the 1118 in the trash. I made 3 kits with the 1118 and had problems with all three. For my set-up Premier Cuvee works best so that is what use."
