Aging Guidelines for This Wine Kit
Recommended aging: 6 to 9 months after bottling. This wine benefits from patience as its flavors and texture develop together. Richer, oaked styles may continue improving beyond this range, while fresher, unoaked varieties are worth sampling at six months. Longer aging gradually changes youthful fruit and aromas into more mature notes, so let your preferred style guide when you drink it.

Reviews
Chardonnay Kit
"I have yet to get this started, as Label Peelers have had such wonderful specials on their Finer Wine kits, that I have bought those and they have to be made in a timely manner. Will get back with a report on this kit later on."
First Chardonnay Kit Ever
"Very good. Beyond expectations. Back here to order another kit since the inventory is getting low."
Eclipse Chardonnay
"Making this kit for the first time as I write this. Noticed after I ordered it that it doesn't contain any oak. My Chardonnay drinkers demand an oaked one so I added some French Oak chips. Curious to see how it turns out. I'm sure it will be good."
Sonoma Dry Creek Chardonnay
"Always crisp and smooth. Have made this kit multiple times with same degree of success every time."
Great wine
"Makes a great white wine"
Dry Creek Chard
"This is my "go-to" kit. Even though the Eclipse line is more expensive, I feel it's worth it, especially at the price level Label Peelers sells this kit at. I like to Oak it a bit with French spirals and leave it sit for a year. We regularly get positive feedback from guests about the wine, even when they don't initially realize it was from a kit."
Sonoma Dry Creek Chardonnay
"I usually let my kits age for 4 to 6 months. I hurried this one a bit since I made it for my Mom and wanted her to be able to take a few bottles when she headed south for the winter season. At only 2 3/4 months, this is the best wine kit I've ever made. Had 1/2 bottle left after bottling and my wife and I did our best to secure as much as we could. The nose in this wine is fantastic for as young as it is. I did substitute yeasts and use D47, but other than that followed the direction and aged a bit longer in the carboy. Will be ordering another kit when I get my tax return this spring. Great chardonnay and wonderful service as always by LP."
Sonoma Dry Creek Chardonnay
"This is a real nice Chardonnay."
Wow, full of flavor
"This chardonnay is one of the most full-bodied whites we have made. Blows away store chardonnays, really. We split the kit after primary, oaked half, and left one half unoaked. It's better unoaked right now, but it's still young. We are usually oak lovers (to the point of using "chewy" as a wine descriptor), but next time we get this kit (and there will be a next time) we won't be oaking it. It's just too good unoaked."
My second batch of this Chardonnay
"After tasting my first batch and finding it to be simply delicious, I decided to get another one in the works so I won't run out. It is a crisp, flavorful white wine that goes well with many dishes or just as a quick refresher."
