INSTRUCTIONS
Preparation
Sanitize your gear. No one likes a funky torpedo (unless you’re into that sort of thing).
Mash
Heat 4.5 gallons of water to 150°F.
Mash in 2-Row and Caramel/Crystal 40, hold at 150°F for 60 minutes.
Sparge
Heat 4 gallons to 168°F.
Sparge grains, collect around 6.5 gallons of wort.
Boil & Hops
60-minute boil total.
60 min: 1 oz Magnum
15 min: 1 oz Citra and Irish Moss/Yeast Energizer Combo
5 min: 1 oz Citra
Cool & Fermentation
Chill wort to 68°F, transfer to fermenter.
Pitch American Ale Yeast and let the torpedo load up for about 2 weeks.
Dry Hop: Add 1 oz Magnum + 1 oz Citra for 5 days post-fermentation.
Packaging
Dissolve 5 oz priming sugar in boiled water, cool, and evenly mix in.
Bottle or keg, condition for 2–3 weeks. Launch directly into your pint glass.
