Introducing the Finer Wine Kits 54-Gallon Drums - a revolutionary product that will elevate your wines to new heights. This is not just any Cabernet Sauvignon Concentrate, but a promise of unmatched quality and consistency. If you are using concentrates to make wine at your winery, here's why you should switch to Finer Wine Kits - superior quality and more options. Finer Wine Kits concentrates are not ultra pasteurized to preserve integral flavors. They are cold stored to avoid the "kit taste" associated with conventionally pasteurized concentrates. This delivers a much more authentic finished wine that is much closer to wine made from fresh grapes. Purchasing your Cabernet Sauvignon Concentrate in bulk offers you additional cost savings, convenience and most importantly, a higher quality wine.
Your Cabernet Sauvignon Wine Making Concentrate in Bulk - Finer Wine Kits, 54-Gallon Drum makes a red wine with berries and plum. Relish the smooth mouthfeel, and appreciate the ripe acidity and dry finish that this concentrate offers. Your results will quintessentially represent the essence of a high quality California Cabernet Sauvignon.
Cabernet Sauvignon Wine Making Concentrate is crafted from the finest California grapes. They undergo a meticulous process of extraction, preserving the rich, authentic flavors of the fruit. This results in concentrates that are pure, potent, and primed to produce exceptional wines. Your concentrates contain nothing but the varietal juices and sulfites. That’s it!

Adding Grape Skins and Grape Seeds:
Finer Wine Kits 54-Gallon Drums offer options for adding unprocessed grape skins and grape seeds. You can select your desired quantities from the menus above. Adding skins and seeds to your ferment will dramatically enhance the flavor and tannin profile of your wine. Grape seeds are another Finer Wine Kits innovation. Skins and seeds impart different tannins and qualities. Using them together enables you to achieve a more authentic result akin to wine made from fresh grapes as red wine fermentation involves the inclusion of both.
Finer Wine Kits grape skins are real unprocessed grape skins. They are stored frozen to ensure that your wine will not have the cooked fruit flavors associated with pasteurized grape skins.
*If you intend to add your grape skins directly to your must, you must have a wine press. Otherwise we recommend you put them in strainer bags and squeeze them out before transferring to secondary fermentation.
Additives:
By checking the appropriate box that indicates how you intend to make your wine, you will receive an acid blend packet to balance your must at a 3.5 pH. That is the minimum acidity required for sulfites to be effective as a preservative. The acid blend packet will be specific to your selection for light, medium or big bodied wine. You can make additional acidity adjustments based on your preferences. No other additives are included. If you have a winery, you have your own supplies however, if you wish to purchase additives, here are some quantity/weight guidelines.
Yeast Packets: 1 5g packet per 6 gallons of finished wine. (We recommend Lalvin RC 212)

Disclaimer:
54-Gallon Drums are intended for wineries with larger production capacities. Because Finer Wine Kits concentrates and skins are not ultra pasteurized, there is a tradeoff between freshness and convenience. They cannot be stored at room temperature. Be prepared to make your wine after your concentrate arrives at your facility. If you have adequate refrigeration and can store unused concentrate, it must be refrigerated below 38 degrees F. Skins must be stored at below freezing temperatures. If you are unable to make the entire drum and do not have adequate refrigeration, we recommend you choose from our winery series kits that make smaller batches.
