Your Reserve Australian Shiraz Wine Kit is a premium winemaking kit that captures the essence of Australia's renowned grape varietal. Crafted for the hot climate, this kit brings out the best traits of the Shiraz grape, delivering a wine that is seductively delicious and startlingly rich. The ripe aromas of this Australian Shiraz persist all the way to its zesty finish, providing a full-bodied and satisfying wine experience.
The kit's style allows for polished tannins early, ensuring the young wine is neither rough nor harsh. As the wine ages, it retains the core fruit flavors of plums, cherries, and blackberries, but gains an extra level of polish. This Shiraz pairs perfectly with flavorful meals, making it an excellent choice for dinner parties or special occasions.
Despite the kit's reduced size from 16L to 10L, the quality and quantity of the wine produced remain the same. This refinement by Winexpert ensures you receive a superior product in a more compact package.
Product Specifications:

Aging Guidelines for This Wine Kit
Recommended aging: 2 to 9 months after completing the winemaking process. This wine offers depth and structure that benefit from time to develop. Aging helps its fruit, oak, and tannins come into balance, creating a smoother drinking experience. Fuller, firmer styles generally benefit from the longer end of this range, while softer styles can be enjoyable sooner.
Overall rating: 5.0 / 5 from 2 reviews.

We have made this wine
"We have made this wine before and enjoy it."
A consistently great wine
"I think most peoples' impression of Australian Shiraz will come from that jammy tasting stuff sold by Yellow Tail, in the grocery store. While I would describe the taste and smell of this wine as reasonably fruity, it's more of a serious wine for grown-up people. This was one of the first wines I made, when I started back in 2010. I liked it when it was offered in the 15 L kit but it was considerably improved a couple of years ago when Winexpert upgraded it to a 16 L kit. I am only recently acquainted with Label Peelers but so far, I am very pleased by their service."
