This all-star lineup of ingredients has been meticulously selected to create a symphony of flavors that will dance across your palate like a seasoned maestro conducting an orchestra. The backbone of this masterpiece is formed by 6 lbs. of light dry malt extract, accompanied by a harmonious blend of 1 lb. each of Munich and Vienna malts. The 8 oz. of Caramel/Crystal (20L) malt adds that flirtatious hint of sweetness, while the 1 lb. of Flaked Maize ensures a crisp, refreshing finish. Ingredients     

- 6 lbs. light dry malt extract
- 1 lb. Munich malt
- 1 lb. Vienna malt
- 8 oz. Caramel/Crystal (20L) malt
- 1 lb. Flaked Maize
- 1 oz. Centennial hops
- 1 oz. Cascade hops
- 1 oz. Amarillo hops
- 1 Yeast Energizer / Irish Moss Combo Packet.
- 1 packet of dry yeast (Safale US-05)

Hop Schedule   

- 1 oz. Centennial hops at 60 minutes
- 1 oz. Cascade hops at 15 minutes
- 1 oz. Amarillo hops at 5 minutes

Instructions

1. Heat 2-3 gallons of water to 155°F.

2. Place the grains (Munich malt, Vienna malt, Caramel/Crystal malt, and Maize) in a grain bag and steep for 30 minutes.

3. Remove the grain bag and discard the grains. Add malt extract and stir until fully dissolved.

4. Bring the wort to a boil.

5. Once boiling, add the Centennial hops and boil for 60 minutes.

6. With 15 minutes left in the boil, add the Cascade hops. Add your Yeast Energizer / Irish Moss Combo at this time as well.

7. With 5 minutes left in the boil, add the Amarillo hops.

8. Remove from heat source and cool the wort to 70°F.

9. Transfer the wort to a fermenter and add cold water to reach 5 gallons.

10. Pitch the yeast and ferment at 68°F for two weeks.

11. Bottle or keg the beer with priming sugar and allow 2 weeks to condition. Enjoy!
