Scotty Ale a hit with friends and family
"I made the Scottish ale kit back on December 2, 2017. It’s a real easy recipe with straightforward instructions and hop additions. The British style beer yeast really gave it a great finish and it came in at 4.4%. It was bottled on December 22 and dished out to friends and family at a birthday party in early February. What was not drank at the time went home with friends and family who are asking, “when are you making that Scotty beer again?”"
By far the worst beer I've made
"I can't give this stuff away. The only beer I've made that I can't drink. It did get a little better with age where I could drink 1/2 a bottle before dumping it down the drain. Probably fine if you like a very light Scottish Ale. I prefer heavier beers. Won't make anything this light again."
