Other Uses for this Product
Our flavorings work in much more than drinks. Add a few drops to frostings, cakes, cookies, ice cream, candy, whipped cream and milkshakes. Larger sizes suit bakeries, ice cream shops and big batches.
Make soda with it: Light, cool watermelon for an easy summer soda. This 5 gallon pail is the same flavoring as our 4 oz bottle: use 2 oz per 5 gallons for a light flavor, or up to 4 oz per 5 gallons for a bold one, with sugar or sweetener to taste in cold water (about 800 to 1,600 gallons of soda per 5 gallon pail). Start small and taste as you go. It works in both sodas and seltzers: for a seltzer, skip the sugar and just add the flavoring to plain cold water. Chill, then force carbonate in a keg with CO2 at about 30 to 40 PSI for 2 to 3 days. No yeast, no fermentation. A splash of our Natural Lime Flavoring makes a watermelon lime soda. Pairs well with Pure White Cane Sugar 50 lb and our 12 oz glass bottles and crown caps. For sugar, plan on about 1 lb of cane sugar for a 1 gallon batch or 5 lb for a 5 gallon batch; our 1 lb bag of cane sugar is an easy add-on, and you'll find more options in Sugars & Sweeteners. Find everything else you need in our Soda Making section.
