Every hop variety has a unique flavor and aroma profile, from citrus and tropical fruit to pine, resinous, earthy, floral, spicy, and herbal notes. This section organizes hops by these sensory characteristics, and each hop includes a Sensory Radar Chart to help visualize and compare its unique profile. Because many hops have multiple characteristics, varieties may appear in more than one category, making these groupings a helpful starting point for choosing and experimenting with hops.
